Chumash Village @ Jalama
Close to where I live, near a surf spot my son and I and friends have often ridden, a new proposal has arisen to reconstruct a functional traditional Chumash village, maintain it and use it as a base to teach Chumash culture and traditions:

I think this would be a great learning experience for people, especially the building process. Perhaps we could open up people's thinking if they actually saw themselves how to do things without technology.
